- Ocean Isle Beach airport features a 4,000 foot lighted runway to service general aviation, with major air carrier access in either Wilmington or Myrtle Beach International Airport only 45 minutes from the beach.
- The Town of Ocean Isle Beach is incorporated with an elected governing body. Ocean Isle Beach has municipal water and sewer, unique to the South Brunswick Islands. Ocean Isle has a fully equipped fire and rescue squad, which have earned the distinguished Class 4 rating, as well as a municipal police department with 911 service.
